Plain rules for using this site.

You must be 18 or older and able to enter a legally binding contract under Indian law. If you are placing an order on behalf of a company or family, you confirm you have the authority to do so.

If you create an account or fill out a form, the details you give us must be accurate. We rely on them for delivery, invoicing, and warranty. Wrong phone number, wrong address, no delivery: not refundable.

Adding an item to your cart is not an order. Submitting checkout is an offer to buy. We confirm acceptance by WhatsApp, email, or order receipt once we have verified the slot and pricing. Once an order is accepted, it is final. You cannot cancel, modify, reschedule, or substitute the order, and the amount paid is non-refundable except where our refund policy expressly says otherwise.

We reserve the right to decline an order without giving a reason. If we decline before acceptance, any amount captured is refunded in full within seven working days.

Prices on the site are inclusive of GST unless marked otherwise. Custom cake quotes given on a sales call are valid for seven days. Express slots, festival days, and last-minute orders may carry a multiplier shown before you confirm.

We use Cashfree for online payments and accept UPI, cards, and netbanking. Card details never reach our servers. Cash on delivery is available only for orders under ₹2,000 in our delivery zones.

Custom cakes are made to your brief. We work to the design notes confirmed on WhatsApp and treat reference photographs as inspiration, not a guarantee of reproduction. Colour, gloss, finish, decoration, and texture will vary as is inherent to handmade cake. Variation of this kind is not a defect and is not refundable.

Brief changes are accepted up to 48 hours before delivery and may carry a redesign fee, communicated in advance. After that window the brief is locked and no further changes, cancellations, or refunds are possible.

All sales are final. We do not refund for change of mind, taste, design dissatisfaction, late delivery caused by an incorrect address, or any reason not expressly carved out in our refund policy. The narrow exceptions (failure to deliver, wrong order, food safety issue at unboxing) are described on our Refund & cancellation page, which forms part of these terms.

Baking dates are bookings of our kitchen, not the sale of a product. Outcomes (a cake, a recipe book, a photograph) are part of the experience but not the entire bargain. We reserve the right to substitute equivalent recipes or ingredients on the day if a key ingredient fails QA. Booking deposits are non-refundable.

Do not:

• Scrape, crawl, or copy the site to build a competing service.
• Reverse-engineer or interfere with the site.
• Submit false orders, impersonate someone, or use stolen payment instruments.
• Upload anything illegal, defamatory, obscene, or that violates someone's rights.

All content on the site (photographs, recipes, copy, our logo, the design system) belongs to us or our licensors. You may share links and brief quotes for personal use. Reuse for commercial purposes needs written permission.

If you send us a photograph of your delivered cake or review, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use it on our site and social channels. Tell us at the time if you would rather we did not.

Our cake is hand-baked in kitchens you can visit. We do everything reasonable to keep the site, the ingredients, and the process safe and accurate. Beyond that, the site is provided "as is" without warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, except those that cannot be excluded under Indian consumer-protection law.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to the site or an order is capped at the amount you paid us for that specific order, and is satisfied at our option by a refund or a replacement. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including but not limited to: missed events, photography costs, venue charges, alternative-cake costs, emotional distress, opportunity cost, or loss of goodwill.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

You agree to indemnify us against claims that arise from your misuse of the site, your breach of these terms, or your infringement of someone else's rights.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

We update these terms when our processes change. Material changes are emailed to anyone with an open order in the last 90 days. The effective date at the top tells you which version applies.
